Problem
Performance Problem：
In a mid-sized IT consulting firm, many employees are unfamiliar with the company's travel reimbursement guidelines and frequently underestimate travel expenses by omitting reimbursable costs, such as hotel taxes and mandatory fees.
As a result, significant discrepancies arise between estimated and actual expenses, requiring accountants to spend additional time investigating variances and reconciling reimbursement requests.
Business Impact：
Beyond increasing the accounting team's administrative workload, inaccurate travel estimates also reduce the reliability of budget forecasts provided to clients. Repeated discrepancies between projected and actual travel costs can undermine client trust and negatively impact the company's reputation.
My Solution
Designed a 15-minute workflow-based microlearning course in Articulate Rise 360.
The course follows a realistic business travel scenario and guides learners through the reimbursement process before, during, and after a business trip using scenario-based activities, job references, and knowledge checks.
Target Learner
All employees who travel for business, with a primary focus on the Business Development team and first-time business travelers.

The course content follows the employee's actual travel workflow—from preparation, to expense tracking, to final submission—allowing learners to acquire knowledge in the same sequence they perform the task on the job.
